Mommy-hood has been rewarding in so many ways. I get to watch my child grow and learn with every step he takes. I've learned I cannot be the perfect wife or mother without being completely exhausted to the point where I fall asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow. I've learned I cannot be a perfectionist nor clean-freak anymore. A restful child and mom is more important than a clean home. I actually enjoy just sitting back, a rare occasions, and just taking in the view. In other words, you learn so much more when you become an Observer than a Participant. Things that single people take for granted, like being able to just pick up and leave to go somewhere or just making a trip to the bathroom, seems so much more important when there's someone else to care for. He about 16 months now and is a walking pro. As soon as his feet touch the ground, it's like "K Mom, you're on your own! Bye!"
In other news, I had the honor of attending BeautyLish's Spring Trend Event at the W Hotel a few weeks ago. April (AprilAthena7) was the one who got me to go. I'm so glad I did. I got to meet a lot of beautiful, talented people and bloggers. Thanks a million April! You are the best Darling!!! I got to meet many bloggers I'm actually subscribed to! Because of April and BeautyLish, I'm motivated again to blog. Since getting married and pregnant, my blogs have been unfortunately neglected.

So, with that in mind. I. am. back.
