Let's Cook!

So now that I'm a full-time Mom, I've been trying to keep my family fed...well-fed. Mom never really forced me or my siblings to learn how to cook since she was a sweetie and always cooked for us. So now that I have a family of my own, it's time to keep them happy and healthy. And, hopefully, I'll be able to cook for my mother someday so I can show her how proud she can be of me. I am an Asian woman who really doesn't know how to cook all too well. But, imma change that.

I've been trying to scour the internet, cook books and even advice from people for any dishes I can get my brains on. I especially want the recipes for all the food I've enjoyed growing up.

So I found some food posts on kimong.com. She's just like me...just starting out and experimenting. Then, of course, food network, all recipes.com, etc. Then, I found Pamela Chau's site. She's awesome! She has recipes for a wad of food I love!!! So far hubby's loved every single dish I tried. Man, I love this girl! She reminds me of myself when I was younger, minus the awesome cooking skills. Although, her life and blogs are entertaining and great, I don't miss my single life. It's great to read her blogs since they stir memories of my fun times. I'm also very happy for her since she seems to enjoy every aspect of her life: her family time, loving her boyfriend, crazy times with her friends, and her adorable dog.

I'm not the type of person who just subscribes to anyone. I like my personal life and my anonymity. I've only subscribed to a handful of people.
