Fun Q & A Time...again

Since couples always fight, what are the main reasons that you guys argue?
We hardly ever fight, even when we were dating. Now that we have a child together, we normally bicker about baby-related things. So I'm happy that we don't argue too much.

Have you been away from each other for a long period of time while dating?

The longest we were apart was when we were dating. He was in New Zealand for a total of 6 months. I got to stay with him for 5 of those weeks. So not seeing him for 5 months was hard. We used alot of calling cards and emailed like crazy.

Did you guys ever break up?
Proud to say we've never 'broken up' or separated. I love Hubby to pieces.

What do u love the most about your partner?
There's so many things I love about my Hubby. I love how he keeps me grounded, keeps patient with me, is so loving, understanding, kind, generous, thoughtful.... So I choose not to pick out one thing since he's a wonderful combo of everything I want in a man, husband, father.

How do you and Hubby behave when you fight? Who tries to solve it first?
We're pretty quiet and quick when we bicker. The longer the argument goes on the worse it gets so we tend to keep the disagreements quick and to the point. Depending on what the argument was about, one of usually breaks the silence. The longest we went without speaking to one another was about a day...I think. Again, we hardly bicker and we try to resolve it before going to bed. We try to never go to bed angry.

Is it Ok for your partner to have a best friend---of the opposite sex?
I don't know if I'll be comfortable with him having a bff of the opposite sex. That's just based on my personal experience. I had a male bff in my younger years and eventually he wanted to move beyond what I was comfortable with. When someone has a deep connection with you, emotions emerge whether intentional or not.

Did your parents like Hubby when you first introduced them or did you have to convince them that he was the one?
When my family first met him formally, they all loved him. I still consider myself extremely lucky to have found someone that my family approves. My mother, especially, hated all the other 'friends' i brought home. It seems Hubby has no problem being like by parents. Even his ex's parents loved him.

What is your favorite way of spending time with each other?
We're a pretty chill couple. We love to eat out (mainly Asian cuisine) and watch movies. Otherwise, people watching is another fun hobby of ours.

When did you two realized that He is the one I want to spend the rest of my life with?
I pretty much had an inkling when my uber conservative, up-tight mother allowed me to visit him in New Zealand. I told her we only went out on 3 dates and now he wants to fly me to another country. Our courtship really started and took off in the short 5 weeks I had him all to myself. I fell in love with him there.
